Election here Tuesday

NILES - Niles area residents are reminded to head to the polls Tuesday to vote for city council seats.
Some Niles residents who also reside in Cass County - those who live in Howard and Milton townships - will go to the polls to decide on the SMC mileage.
Howard Township residents vote at the township's business office, located at 1345 Barron Lake Road, Niles.
Milton Township residents will vote at the township's hall located 2576 E. Bertrand Road.
City of Niles residents will head to the polls to cast their votes for city council members.
The only contested seat is in the city's fourth ward with incumbent Scott Clark being challenged by Bob Burch.
Residents in the first ward cast their vote at Niles Senior High School, those in the second ward head to Eastside School, the third ward votes at the Niles City Fire Station and the fourth ward at Westside Administration Building.
The polls for all voters will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
