The Dowagiac junior varsity basketball team made it two straight Thursday night with a 44-38 victory over St, Joseph.
The Dowagiac freshmen basketball team dropped a 34-13 decision to the visiting Lady Bears

Tenisha White led the Chieftains with 15 points, while Shardatsha Frichett added 10 points and Beth Williams eight points.
Dowagiac will return to action on Tuesday night when it hosts Battle Creek Harper Creek.
Tip-off is set for 5:45 p.m.
Freshmen basketball
Katie Wood scored nine of Dowagiac's 13 points.
The Chieftains will play on Tuesday against visiting Battle Creek Harper Creek at 4:15 p.m.
