Brandywine Bobcats blow by New Buffalo, 54-25

NILES - The Brandywine Bobcats added another win to their record Tuesday evening with a 54-25 victory over host New Buffalo in non-conference action.
Brandywine jumped to a 14-3 lead after the first period of play and extended the gap to 23-11 at halftime.
In the third, the Bobcats scored 21 points, while holding the Bison to 10, bringing the score to 44-21. Brandywine added another 10 points to its score in the fourth and held New Buffalo to single digit scoring with only four points, posting the final score of 54-25.
Kelli Zache was the leading scorer for the Lady Cats with 10 points. Ashley Casey added nine, which included two three-pointers and Kalie Newman, Kelli Konopka and Kari Konopka all added six points each.
Nika Corwin led the Bison with seven points on the night.
The game between Brandywine and Buchanan scheduled for Thursday has been moved to Friday night at the Bobcat gym because of parent/teacher conferences at Brandywine High School on Thursday evening. Tip off time is set for 7:30 p.m.
