Joe Saratore, Jr., 87, of Mobile Boulevard, Niles, died at 8:55 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24, 2005, at West Woods of Niles, following an extended illness.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 28, at Saint Mark Catholic Church, Niles. The Rev. Joseph W. Koma C.S.C. of Saint Mark Catholic Church, Niles, will officiate.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at Halbritter Funeral Home, Niles, where a recitation of the Rosary will be at 7 p.m.
Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Niles. Full military honors will follow committal rites on Friday at the graveside by the American Legion Post No. 51, Buchanan.
Memorials may be made to Hospice at Home.
