ST. JOSEPH - Danette Fish, proprietor of the former Peddler's Cart and Perk and Beans in Downtown Dowagiac, recently opened Covenant Coffee, a coffee bar inside Banner Books at 2913 Niles Ave.
Banner Books is a Christian Bookstore and has a wonderful history all its own, and Danette is honored to be part of history in the making at this present time.
Owners of Banner Books, Jake and Ruth Reedyk, have operated the store for 30 years.
Danette continues to carry the same highest quality beans at Covenant Coffee as she did in Dowagiac, and is still creating cappuccinos and lattes to suit individual tastes.
Covenant Coffee also offers steamers, Italian sodas, hot cocoa and chai tea lattes.
In addition, Covenant Coffee and Banner Books are combining products to create unique and special gift baskets for all kinds of gift giving occasions.
Hours for Banner Books and Covenant Coffee are Monday through Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
