Buchanan boys CC still posting perfect record

DOWAGIAC - The Buchanan boys' cross country team can add another win to their already perfect record as the Bucks took a 23-34 win over Edwardsburg Monday afternoon at Southwestern Muchigan College, improving its record to 7-0 in the conference.
The Bucks' girl's team suffered a 19-36 loss to the Eddies, but Hipshear said his team still ran well.
Harper Sulier placed second overall and was the top finisher for the boy's.
Josh Borr took third place; Nick Wheetley fourth, Jon Young fifth; Josh Tidey ninth; Ryan Darmos 10th; Aaron Burns 11th and Allan Morse 14th.
Erica Curti grabbed a fourth place finish and was the top runner for the girls' team.
Ellen Siemon took sixth; Laura Kulis seventh; Andrea Hemminger ninth; Stephanie Stanton 10th; Kristina Lemon 13th; Tabatha Hipshear 15th and Mary Siemon 16th.
Buchanan will travel to the Brandywine Invitational on Saturday. Meet time is set to begin at 10 a.m.
On Tuesday, Oct. 25, the Bucks will be back at the Bobcat course for the Conference tournament, set to begin at 4 p.m.
