Shelby Wood too much for Brandywine Bobcats

NILES - The host Shamrocks rebounded from their first loss of the season last week to Edwardsburg to post a 47-15 victory over Brandywine.
Berrien Springs (7-1, 5-1) jumped out to an 18-0 first quarter lead which it extended to 33-7 at the intermission over the Bobcats (4-4, 3-3).
Both teams completed the scoring in the third quarter as the Shamrocks outscored the Bobcats 14-8.
Brandywine, which will travel to Coloma next Friday night to complete their season, got a 90-yard touchdown run from Caleb Frazier.
Matt Duckett added the extra point kick.
Brett Gilpin scored the second touchdown for the Bobcats, on a 30-yard run. Brian Westveer tossed a pass to Frazier for the two-point conversion.
Frazier finished the night with 132 yards on six carries. Gilpin added 67 yards on seven carries.
Berrien Springs quarterback Shelby Wood was 13-of-16 for nearly 300 yards and five touchdowns to lead the Shamrocks offensively.
Defensively, Adam Simons had 10 tackles for the Bobcats, while Kyle Jones had six.
