CASSOPOLIS - The Youth Club of Cass County is celebrating the second year in operation with an open house on Saturday, Oct. 8 from 3-5 p.m.
The public is invited to come and join the festivities. There will be kids games, hot dogs, and lots of fun, including hayrides, weather permitting.
Recently the club had a benefit rummage sale and raised $300. Half of the money will be given to the American Red Cross to be used for helping those in emergencies.
New members may sign up at any time, call 445-1601 or 445-3580.
The club is always looking for volunteers to work with the club members 6-18 years, to help with office work, helping with home work, raising funds, and to serve as board members.
The club is located at 60405 Decatur Road off M60, east of Cassopolis at the old antique barn complex owned and leased to the organization at no cost, by the Edward Lowe Foundation.
