The Dowagiac Orange eighth grade football team defeated Lakeshore 30-3.
Justin Young rushed for 158 yards on eight carries and had three touchdowns. Robert Scott added 121 yards on seven carries and a touchdown. Scott also had a team-high seven tackles. Young finished with six tackles.
Zach Hatch recovered two fumbles.
The Black team was defeated by Lakeshore, 17-8.
Chris Hutson rushed for 31 yards on four carries, while Cody Cox ran for 30 yards on four carries. Hutson scored the Chieftains' lone touchdown on a 78-yard kickoff return.
Cody Nowak had a team-high eight tackles.
