NILES - Niles' JV football team fell to visiting St. Joseph Thursday afternoon, 21-14.
Niles was down 7-0 at halftime and, though the Vikes scored two touchdowns, time ran out before they could tie the game.
Rick Paul scored a touchdown for Niles on a 10-yard run, while Josh Boyd hit paydirt after a completed 30-yard pass from Seth Jordan.
Defensively for Niles, Jake Ferguson, Dan Holland and Jerome Warburton all contributed.
The Vikings, now 1-4, will host Marshall next Thursday.
