Brandywine, Buchanan and Cassopolis' cross country teams met at Southwestern Michigan College Monday afternoon for a Lakeland Conference meet, where the Bucks took home the victory in both the boys' and girls' events.
Buchanan's boys took a 21-40 win over the Bobcats and a 15-50 win over the Rangers, while Brandywine took 21-33 win over Cass.
Harper Sulier, of the Bucks, was the overall winner for the boys' with a time of 19:20. Nick Wheetley, also of Buchanan, took second with a time of 20:07 and Brandywine's Dan DeVos rounded out the top three with a time of 20:38.
In girl's action, it was the Bucks who took a 20-40 win over the Bobcats. The Rangers did not post a girls' team.
Buchanan's Erica Curtis was the overall girls' winner with a time of 23:25. Buck runner Ellen Siemon took second with her time of 23:56 and Brandywine's Ashley Harrell took third with a time of 24:48.
