Bernard F. "Barney" Benning, 89, passed away at Hope Hospice, Fort Myers, Fla., after a lengthy illness.
On Sept. 19, memorial services were be held at 1 p.m. at the Palms Chapel on Winkler Avenue, Fort Myers, Fla., followed by a "Celebration of Life."
Remains have been laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery.
Remembrances be sent to Hope Hospice, 9470 Health Park Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33708. They provided such wonderful care for Barney.
Arrangements were handled by Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
