NILES - Get ready, get set, get healthy.
On Wednesday, Sept. 28, from 4 to 8 p.m., the community of Niles is invited to attend the Niles Community Health Fair at Niles Senior High School, which is located at 1441 Eagle St.
The event will have the Berrien County Safe Kids chapter doing car seat checks. Also Salvagione was able to secure a grant which will allow for 100 bike helmets to be given away to area children.
The event will also feature many local organizations who will be offering information and services to community members. Some of the organizations include Polly's Place, the Southwest Michigan Volunteer Center, Tri-County Head Start, the Niles Service League, the Niles District Library, the Niles Apple Festival, Lakeland Hospital departments, Longmeadow, and the list goes on.
There will also be healthy snacks. Music is being provided by 1290 WNIL of Niles and there will be children's games.
The Apple Festival queens will be attending and there will be door prizes and give aways.
