ST. JOSEPH - The Niles golf team captured the Big 16 Conference West Division championship on Monday.
The Vikings shot 167 to win the final jamboree held at Point O'Woods Golf and Country Club.
Host St. Joseph was second at 176 and Lakeshore third with a 177. Dowagiac finished fourth with a 184.
Niles wins the division with 48 points while Lakeshore was second with 38 and St. Joe third with 34. Dowagiac and Benton Harbor finished fourth and fifth with 20 and 10 points respectively.
Kevin Proshwitz led Dowagiac on Monday with a 43. Jared Schinski finished with a 45, while Nick Krizinski and Zack Russom both shot 48. Adam Carlson shot 50.
