Arthur's life began on Oct. 3, 1921, in Dowagiac, the son of Russell and Fredericka (Velthouse) Elliott.
His family will meet friends at Riverside Cemetery, Dowagiac, on Friday, Sept. 23, at 2 p.m. for a graveside service led by the Rev. Robert Vickroy of Calvary Bible Church.
Memorial contributions in his name may be directed to the American Red Cross for Hurricane Katrina relief.
