Brandywine runners place 28th at New Prairie

NILES - Brandywine's boys' and girls'cross country teams both placed 28th on Saturday at the New Prairie Invitational, one of the biggest meets in Indiana.
Over 100 schools participated in three divisions.
The meet was opened up by a very unique national anthem.
Four sky divers dropped with hang gliders, with the last man down carrying an American flag.
In the girl's race, runners only ran a 4K, as opposed to Michigan where a 5K is run.
Ashley Harrell finished 122nd with her time of 19:31; Caylin Garrard finished 137th with her time of 19:56; Sarah DeVos finished 174th with a time of 21:34; Betinna Wolf took 175th with a time of 21:35; and Ashley Church took 201st with a time of 25:13.
In the boy's race, Brian Wieger finished 48th with his time of 18:52; Dan DeVos took 116th with a time of 20:07; Cameron Roth finished 203rd with a time of 24:46; Chase Molica took 207th with a time of 25:40 and Tom Buzzard finished 212th with a time of 26:49.
The Bobcats return to action on Saturday when they travel to the Jackson Invitational.
