Richard E. Carey, 78, of Floral Drive, Niles, died at 2:09 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, 2005, at Memorial Hospital, South Bend, Ind., following an extended illness.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2005, at Saint Mark Catholic Church, Niles. The Rev. Joseph W. Koma C.S.C. of Saint Mark Catholic Church will be officiating.
Burial will take place at the Calvary Cemetery in Niles.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Halbritter Funeral Home.
The Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday at the the funeral home.
There will be a flag presentation and taps at the graveside.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart and Lung Associations.
