PAW PAW - Dowagiac took seventh in the boy's portion of the Paw Paw Invitational on Thursday, while the girls' team finished ninth.
Three Rivers won the boy's meet with 24 points. Lakeshore won the girl's portion with 34 points.
Brad Lee finished 20th to earn a medal for the Chieftains with a time of 19:12. Evan Bressler was 30th (20:23), Jason Tabbert 37th (21:13), Oscar Azevedo 44th (21:47), Tony Saviano 53rd (24:32) and Eric Morton 56th (25:27).
Crissy Huff led the Chieftain girls with a 31st place finish and a time of 26:12.
Kayla Saviano was 40th (27:24), Katie Hewitt 47th (28:29), Ashley Willis 52nd (29:35), Chelsey Preston 54th (29:53) and Catie Hamilton 56th (30:59).
