Niles CC teams take first

NILES - Brandywine's varsity soccer team settled for a 3-3 tie with Coloma Tuesday evening in Lakeland Conference action.
The Bobcats had a 3-2 lead heading into final minutes of the game, but the Comets were able to score a goal that tied the game.
Both teams were tied at one after the first half. Will Coar scored Brandywine's goal on an assist from Josh Schlutt at the 25 minute mark.
In the second half, it was Kyle Low and Matt Wieger who scored goals for the Bobcats. Wieger assisted Low at the 51 minute mark and Matt Beaver assisted Wieger at the 67 minute mark.
Brandywine had 13 shots on goal, while Coloma had five.
Bobcat goal keeper Jake Harris had three saves in the net and Coloma had 10.
