The Dowagiac varsity golf team finished 14th out of 16 teams at the Big 16 Conference Tournament at Thornapple Golf Club on Tuesday.
Mattawan was the overall winner with a team score of 306.
Coldwater was second with a 317, while Portage Central finished third with a 318 and Portage Northern fourth with a 326. Lakeshore rounded out the top five teams with a score of 326.
Kalamazoo Central was sixth (329), Battle Creek Lakeview seventh (333), Kalamazoo Loy Norrix eighth (335), Niles ninth (337) and St. Joseph 10th (344).
Rounding out the order of finish were Marshall (345), Sturgis (352), Battle Creek Harper Creek (357), Dowagiac (369), Battle Creek Central (420) and Benton Harbor, which did not participate.
Dowagiac will return to action on Thursday when it travels to St. Joseph to compete in the Big 16 West jamboree hosted by Lakeshore at the Berrien Hills Country Club.
The match is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.
Niles and Lakeshore are tied for first place, while St. Joseph is third and Dowagiac fourth.
