BENTON HARBOR - William L. "Bill" Heeter, 85, of Dowagiac, died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2005, in Benton Harbor from an automobile accident.
Bill wished to be cremated. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, with the Rev. Winston Decker officiating.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Fairplain Chapel of Florin Funeral Service in Benton Harbor.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to VFW Post 1137 of Benton Harbor, of which he was a lifetime member, or to the Sister Lakes Fire Department.
