An art exhibition by Niles artist Clare Hoinville opens Monday, Sept. 12, at the newly-renovated Dogwood Fine Arts Festival headquarters in Huntington Bank. 
A reception from 4 until 6 p.m. will give viewers time to meet the artist and to view her work.
Hoinville graduated from Western Michigan University with a bachelor of arts degree. She also studied art at Indiana University, Notre Dame and was awarded an art fellowship to paint at Skidmore College.
She taught art for the Galien Public School system for 25 years.
