Lady Cats victorious over Bucks

NILES - Brandywine head coach Joe Marazita is very pleased with his young, inexperienced Bobcat tennis team.
On Monday, Brandywine hosted and defeated Buchanan, 6-2, to keep the 'Cats undefeated so far this season with a 2-0 record.
Brandywine lost at No. 2 singles, where Kayla Nelson took a 6-2 win over freshman Jill Sinkoff due to an injury.
At No. 3 doubles, Buchanan's Mary Martin and Brianne Weldy took a 0-6, 6-3, 7-6 win over Erin Fuson and Samantha Quartuccio.
Taking wins for Brandywine were Amy Konopinski at No. 1 singles, defeating Nicole Moyer, 6-1, 6-3.
At No. 3 singles, Amelia Harrison grabbed a 6-1, 6-3 win against Megan Vylonis.
At No. 4 singles, Brittney Patterson took a 6-2, 6-4 win over Sam Haver.
In doubles action, Bethany Daniel and Ashley Valentine took a 6-3, 6-4 win over Katrina Weldy and Robyn Bahr.
Erin Sinkoff and Jamie Bartuska grabbed a 3-6, 6-0, 6-3 win over Holly Lucas and Courtney Miller and Morgan Bailey and Jo Ferenczi were victorious against Jessica Welsh and Joey Drietzler, 6-1, 6-0.
The Bobcats return to the court today when it hosts Niles for a non-conference match set to begin at 4 p.m.
The Bucks will face their own JV team at 4 p.m.
