The Cassopolis girls' varsity tennis team opened its home season with a split in non-conference action.
On Monday, The Lady Rangers played to a 4-4 draw with visiting Eau Claire.
Against Eau Claire, Kelli Klimek was the lone winner in singles for the Lady Rangers as she toppled Angela Krohne, 6-1 and 6-4.
Cassopolis won three out of four doubles matches, including one by forfeit.
Cassopolis' Symone Pompey and Krista Jessup defeated Cate Reed and Laken Howe, 6-4 and 6-0, at No. 1 doubles.
At No. 3 doubles, Amy Bloss and Tiffany Westphal defeated Kim Mason and Rachel Skibbe, 6-0 and 6-1.
The Lady Rangers received a forfeit at No. 4 doubles.

Winning in singles for the Lady Rangers were Brittany Polmateer, 7-5 and 6-1, over Samantha Stone in the first flight, and Cally Hass over Kaitlyn Tyrakowski. No score was available.
In doubles action, Pompey and Samantha Valscik defeated Tonya Scherer and Kate Duszynski in three sets, 6-4, 2-6 and 6-4. Also in doubles, Candace Smith and Nicole Green defeated Katie Fenech and Heather Bankston, 3-6, 7-5 and 6-4.
