CASSOPOLIS - Marcellus Village President Allen Fisk's life as a fugitive was short-lived.
Marshals took him into federal custody in Grand Rapids Tuesday to face embezzlement and tax fraud charges.
Monday afternoon, when he failed to appear in his court, Cass County Circuit Judge Michael E. Dodge revoked Fisk's $5,000 cash/surety bond and issued a warrant for his arrest.
In April Cass County Prosecutor Victor Fitz accused Fisk of embezzling thousands of dollars from Trinity Bible Church in Marcellus.
Fisk also faces a variety of other charges.
