Cassopolis girls’ tennis team gets split

The Cassopolis girls' varsity tennis team opened its home season with a split in non-conference action.
On Monday, The Lady Rangers played to a 4-4 draw with visiting Eau Claire.
Against Eau Claire, Kelli Klimek was the lone winner in singles for the Lady Rangers as she toppled Angela Krohne, 6-1 and 6-4.
Cassopolis won three out of four doubles matches, including one by forfeit.
Cassopolis' Symone Pompey and Krista Jessup defeated Cate Reed and Laken Howe, 6-4 and 6-0, at No. 1 doubles.
At No. 3 doubles, Amy Bloss and Tiffany Westphal defeated Kim Mason and Rachel Skibbe, 6-0 and 6-1.
The Lady Rangers received a forfeit at No. 4 doubles.
