After winning the preliminary Kalamazoo and then regional Lansing Hooters swimsuit contests earlier this year, Jennifer Steinman was invited to compete in the 2005 Hooters International Swimsuit Contest in Miami in June.
The pageant was hosted by Emmy Award-winning television host Jim Gibson.
Judges included Brooke Burke, Leeann Tweeden, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Rob Dibble, Lisa Dergan and Chris Fox.
There are 15,000 Hooters girls working in more than 400 restaurants.
One hundred and nine of them were chosen for the international event, which represented 16 countries.
Jen finished in the top 10.
Fox Sports Network (FSN) will broadcast the competition today, Aug. 22, at 10 p.m. on the "Best Damn Sports Show."
Jennifer will continue to work for Hooters Internationally helping to open new stores and train employees while she is waiting for a year to get into dental school.
Jen, daughter of Greg and Carla Steinman, was Miss Dowagiac and salutatorian in 2001.
