Former teacher opens link to learning

NILES - Those in the community who are experiencing a language difficulties or just need help with a specific subject in school now have a new place to get help.
A grand opening celebration was held Friday at the Language Link Learning Center: English for Career, College and Life, 221 N. Fourth St., Niles.
Owners Drew and Amy McLean consider Niles home. Drew spent several years teaching English as a second language in Mexico and has taught at local community colleges.
The Language Link Learning Center will be offering classes in English as a second language, ACT and SAT preparation courses, and individual tutoring for any age.
"Niles is a real gem and we really are happy to be here. We hope the school will benefit the whole community," Drew said.
The store is open from 3 to 8:30 p.m., Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Saturday.
