NILES - The numbers just keep rising.
Over the last week, when you drove down South 11th Street in Niles you couldn't help but notice the numbers on the gas station marquees going up.
To pump a gallon of gas into your vehicle in Niles, you can expect to pay around $2.56 per gallon, which is lower than the state average of $2.70 per gallon, but higher than the national average of $2.60 a gallon, according to current surveys.
To put things in perspective as to how much the price of gas has risen, last year at this time the state average for a gallon of gas was just $1.99.
Many area residents are looking to save mony on their gas bills by changing their driving habits.
