NILES - The annual Niles Riverfest 5k Run and Walk, sponsored by Fifth Third Bank and the Niles-Buchanan YMCA, was held Saturday morning.
Runners from Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, even Pennsylvannia and New Mexio participated in the event, which began at the YMCA.
A gun shot start by Michigan Congressman Fred Upton (R-St. Joseph) and a police escort helped make this run a fun and memorable one.
