NILES - For a spectacular display of cars and trucks, dating as far back as the early 1900s, visit the AAA Ninth Annual All Classic Car and Truck Show this Saturday at Riverfest.
An array of beautifully restored and customized cars and trucks will be exhibited at the north end of Riverfront Park, in Niles, on the north stage. Several specialty cars and trucks will be featured including: 1955-1957 Chevys, antique cars, Corvettes, Mustangs, MoPars, and Rods.
All vehicles will be on display throughout the day. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and anyone is allowed to enter the All Car and Truck Show, including all years, makes and models of vehicles.
Cars and trucks will be judged in a number of various categories. At the end of the show, at 4 p.m., the top 50 vehicles will receive their awards after judges drive through and survey them.
AAA has been an active sponsor of Riverfest for the past 10 years in a row, as well as the major sponsor of the car and truck show for the past seven years.
Several new trophies will be presented this year in addition to those presented in the past.
The show gains popularity in Niles each year and draws in spectators and participants from miles way.
The rain date for the All Car and Truck Show will be Sunday, Aug. 7.
