The Dowagiac District Library asks all budding child artists and youth who wish to express themselves through the medium of chalk drawing to come to the library for a special Sidewalk Chalk Art Drawing experience on the front walkway on Thursday beginning at 11 a.m.
Chalk will be provided by the library for any and all masterpieces in-the-works or for special scenes to be appreciated by passers-by on their way into the library, to the Fun Fest, Beckwith Theatre or other activities in the Grand Old City.
Magician, John Dudley will perform his new set of tricks on Friday, also at 11 a.m.
A professional at slight-of-hand and awe inspiring magical tricks, Mr. Dudley returns to the Dowagiac District Library Children's Department for young people and those young-at- heart. He has astounded audiences in Dowagiac for years and promises that his new show will continue with the same level of high quality entertainment. Families are encouraged to stop in, cool off in air- conditioned comfort, and enjoy the magic show!
