DOWAGIAC - It's time to register for the Dowagiac City Tennis Tournament.
The singles tournament will be held at Dowagiac Union High School's courts on Saturday, July 30 and Sunday, July 31.
Deadline to register is Wednesday, July 27. The tournament pairings will be posted at the tennis courts on Thursday, July 28. Some matches will be played on Friday, July 29 at 6:30 p.m.
First round matches will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 30.
The men's, women's and mixed doubles tournaments will be held at Dowagiac Union High School's courts on Saturday, Aug. 6 and Sunday, Aug 7.
Deadline to register is Wednesday, Aug. 3. The tournament pairings will be posted at the tennis courts on Thursday, Aug. 4. Some matches will be played on Friday, Aug. 5 at 6:30 p.m.
First round matches will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 6.
Cost remains $5 per person for the singles tournament. Residents of Cass County, a graduate of Dowagiac Union High School and current or former members of the Dowagiac Tennis Association are eligible to compete.
Matches will be the best of three sets with a 12-point tiebreaker used in all sets.
