MATTAWAN - Dowagiac was defeated three times Monday evening in Michigan Little League District 15 tournament play.
Dowagiac dropped a 14-9 decision to Mattawan in 11-year-old All-Star softball action, while it lost 4-1 to Mendon in Junior Softball.
The 11-year-old All-Stars will play for the championship tonight at Vicksburg beginning at 6 p.m.
In baseball play, Dowagiac's late rally against Centreville came up a run short as the Junior Baseball All-Stars were defeated 6-5.
Games in Cassopolis were postponed due to a heavy rain storm that swept through southwestern lower Michigan mid-afternoon on Monday.
Games in the 9/10 Baseball bracket will be played today.
Schoolcraft will take on Vicksburg at 6 p.m. with Niles taking on Three Rivers in the second game scheduled to begin at 8 p.m.
