The Blossomland Soccer League concluded regular season play Sunday night as Athletic Jaier defeated the Tornadoes, 8-4, at Ballard Elementary in Niles.
Scoring for Jaier were Tony Arnold with a hat trick, Michael Arnold, Ian Spooner, Jen Bock, Brad Merrick and Nashir Carabali.
Scoring for the Tornadoes was Andrew Lowe with all four goals.
On Wednesday the Blossomland Soccer League will open up its season-ending tournament with a pair of games.
In Stevensville at Rockey Weed Field, Whirlpool United will take on the Tornadoes at 6:30 p.m.
At Ott Field in Bridgman, P&R FC will face the Dowagiac Chiefs. The match will begin at 6:30 p.m.
On Thursday the tournament continues with two more matches.
At Lake Michigan College Athletic Jaier will take on Dowagiac Diamonds United at 6:30 p.m.
In Arden at the St. Joe Kickers Club, the Kickers will host the Mariners at 6:30 p.m.
The tournament will conclude with the final round on Sunday, July 24 beginning at noon at the Kickers Club
