NILES - This is your chance to vote for your "Hometown Hero" to be in the Niles Service League's exclusive 2006 calendar.
Support our firefighters, police officers, and SMACAS employees.
Your choices will be on display in local businesses. Locations will be posted weekly right here in The Niles Daily Star.
Cast your votes as many times as you want.
No age limit required to vote.
Top 13 winners will be announced at this year's RiverFest.
Find our voting sites this week at the following locations:
Niles locations: YMCA, Legus Shell Station, Martin's Supermarket, Stop-In Restaurant and Niles Fifth Third Bank.
Buchanan locations: Harding's Market and LaSalle Federal Savings Bank.
Proceeds will go to Niles Service League to support continued service to the Niles, Brandywine, and Buchanan area children and young adults for scholarships, camperships, clothing, educational improvements and other needs. Also, partial proceeds will go to the top winning heroes' department.
