Congratulations to all the winners from the Greater Niles Area Golf Tournament, also known as the City Tournament, which was held this past weekend and drew more than 80 golfers to Plym Park Golf Course for a weekend of intense, competitive golf.
The tournament, like in years past, was a great success and everyone seemed to enjoy the sunny weekend.
The Junior Tournament kicked things off Friday morning when area kids came out to show their skills.

In the 12-13 year-old division, Chris Noble added another trophy to his collection as he shot a 43, giving him the tournament win.

In the 16-17 year-old division, Alex Welsh took the win with a 76.
The Men's and Senior's Tournaments started Saturday morning and continued through Sunday where Flight Champions were awarded.

Robert Blue won the Seniors championship with a score of 172, as he edged out runner-up Ray Neldon who shot 174.
Jim Butler won the Championship Flight with a one stroke victory over Mike Burdick.
The two battled back and forth down the stretch to decide the championship.
Butler finished with a 151 and Burdick a 152.
In the A Flight, John Schaller shot 152 to defeat Paul Krause by six strokes, the largest margin of victory in the tournament.

The C Flight championship went to Vic Swanson, who shot 195 to edge runner-up Jim Conrad by a stroke. Conrad shot 196.
The competition was as hot as the temperatures this past weekend at Plym Park. If you missed your chance at this tournament, there are plenty more opportunities in the near future.
