Cass gets split with Constantine

Cassopolis played well Thursday evening earning a well deserved split with a team from Constantine.
Cassopolis took game one 5-2.
Jason Rietveld turned in a complete game victory allowing two runs on three hits, with 12 strike outs and four walks.
Constantine scored a run in the second inning to make it 1-0. Cass came back to tie the score 1-1 in the fifth.
Cass then broke the game open in its half of the sixth to take control 5-1. Constantine mounted a threat in the bottom of the sixth but could only get one run across to make the final 5-2. Andre Broussard led Cassopolis with a double.
Constatine came back with a vengance in game two, winning 9-3 to get the split.
Cassopolis helped out with nine walks and three errors. The game was shortened to four innings due to darkness. Rietveld had a double for Cassopolis.
Cassopolis' final home game was Tuesday against visiting Plainwell, while the final game is tonight at Three Rivers.
