Referring to his partners at Cass County Habitat for Humanity, "It's got to be awfully rough for somebody to go out and start an affiliate and start building houses because first off, you need some money," Lee said.
John Lee and his wife Carol are from St. Louis, Mo., originally. When they lived in northwest Alabama, he operated his own business and she worked for the TVA.
Today, with their motor home, they live "wherever we park it," Carol said.
