Eddies, Rangers receive honors

Edwardsburg's Sarah Lange and Shelley Roberts have been named to the Lakeland Conference all-league first team which was announced recently.
Edwardsburg's Susanna Martino and Tayler Swaim were second team selections.

All-Conference baseball
Co-champion Edwardsburg landed Zac Rooney and Jesse Johnson on the first team of the All-Lakeland squad. The Eddies also had Ben Horton and Monty Ort on the second team and Brandon Stapleton on the honorable mention portion of the squad.

All-Conference softball
Edwardsburg's Samantha Fritsche was named first team All-Lakeland Conference.
Kelli Kretchman was a second team selection, while Jenna Bowman was an honorable mention pick.
Bowman was first team all-district in Division 2 as a pitcher.
Cassopolis Ashley Solloway and Baily Wyant were honorable mention selections.

All-District softball
Cassopolis'Jessica Frucci, who has signed to play softball at Lake Michigan College, was named to the Division 4 All-District softball team.
Academic All-State
The Edwardsburg girls' varsity basketball team, coached by Mark Zarycki, has been named Class B Academic All-State by the Michigan High School Basketball Association.
Edwardsburg had a grade point average of 3.709.
