NILES - Niles resident Melanie Bizoe earned a dream vacation to the breath-taking Caribbean this past April through the help of a company by the name of lia sophia.
lia sophia is a business that offers in-home demonstrations of its fashion jewelry, making it a unique direct selling opportunity.
Bizoe, a manager with lia sophia, earned this award by reaching a personal sales goal she set for herself and by introducing new advisors to lia sophia from April through December 2004.
This dream vacation was presented to nearly 400 lia sophia advisors.
Bizoe set sail on Royal Caribbean's Enchantment of Seas ship on April 11 with her husband Steve Bizoe, who is the band director at Niles Middle School.
They visited the ports of Key West, Cozumel, and Belize City, all while enjoying the many luxuries each city had to offer including; world-class dining, various spas and health centers, along with a variety of shopping.
Bizoe has been actively involved with lia sophia for a year and a half. She was first introduced to the company by her mother, who is also a manager within lia sophia and won a trip to Hawaii last year through the company.
When asked what the most enjoyable part of working for lia sophia was, Bizoe replied "I love being able to spend more time with my children and being able to control my own schedule and time."
Bizoe is the mother of three children, ages 8, 11, and 13 and appreciates the ability to schedule when she wants to work around the many activities her children are involved in.
Bizoe says her success within lia sophia is a team effort and she is the manager of 24 lia sophia advisors within Michigan and Indiana. Bizoe finds it "rewarding to help other people do what they want with the business."
