Michigan State University Extension is sponsoring the Pied Piper Program, a six week summer walking program for Cass County youth and their families.
The walks, each Tuesday and Thursday evening from June 21 through July 28, will be focused on having fun while becoming more physically fit at the same time.
The adult-supervised walks will begin from the Sam Adams school parking lot in Cassopolis at 5:30 p.m. and finish at 6:30 p.m.; and from the Justus Gage school parking lot in Dowagiac at 7 p.m., finishing at 8 p.m. each Tuesday and Thursday evening. At the end of each walk, a healthy snack will be provided with recipes and nutrition information for all.
At the final walk, great prizes will be awarded to those participating. Come join the fun-walks as you walk, skip and hop with family and friends this summer as part of the Pied Piper program! No advance registration is required and the program is free to all participants.
Come and join in the fun! For more information, call the MSU Extension office at 269-445-4438.
