The Dowagiac junior softball team captured the District 15 Round Robin Tournament held in Vicksburg May 21-22.
Behind strong hitting, good defense and excellent pitching, Dowagiac went 4-0 and outscored its opponents 48-10.
Dowagiac is currently 10-1 in Little League action.
The team consists of Brooke Means, Michele Dowsett, Tasia Diaz, Stephanie Gross, Kara Roberts, Becca Mattix, Linzy Kling, Morgan Tanzillo, Stephanie Grabemeyer and Katie Wood.
The team is coached by Roger Kling, Dave Grabemeyer and Dennis Means.
