Memorial Day festivities and services planned

EDWARDSBURG - The Edwardsburg American Legion Post No. 365 will be honoring our veterans by conducting Memorial Day services on Monday, May 30.
Following the 11 a.m. parade, and ceremony at the Edwardsburg Fire Station, at approximately noon, the veterans will travel to the Edwardsburg Cemetery.
Then they will visit Smith's Cemetery on Redfield Road, at approximately 12:30 p.m., followed by the Adamsville Cemetery at the corner of May Street and Adamsville Road, at 1:30 p.m.
From there the next stop will be the Five Points Cemetery on U.S.-12 towards Union at 2 p.m.
At 2:30 p.m., they are expected to finish their services for Memorial Day at the Kessington Cemetery on Kessington Road, off of U.S.-12, also towards Union.
In the park by the Edwardsburg Branch of the District Library, there will be booths set up during the day with crafts and refreshments.
There will also be entertainment including a battle of the bands.
