The Dowagiac varsity tennis team fell to host Berrien Springs Tuesday afternoon in a non-conference match.
The Shamrocks defeated the Chieftains 6-2.
Dowagiac picked up its lone victories at No. 1 doubles and No. 4 doubles.
Josue Miranda and Mike DeRose defeated Jim Rose and Josh Gordon, 6-2 and 7-5.
Tyler Cook and Andrew Cuthbert defeated Drew Teed and Halum Chung 6-1 and 6-0.
Dowagiac travels to Three Rivers today for a non-conference match.
