NILES - The Brandywine Board of Education will have to wait until a later date to make a decision about the privatization of the district's custodial and maintenance services.
Rider added that the district is planning to meet with the union and employees again before a decision is made.
The Board passed a measure upon the recommendation of Rider that the district participate in the state of Michigan's school of choice measure for the 2005/2006 school year and that the enrollment opportunities the district has available be advertised to the public.
The Board also received an update on the construction process happening throughout the district.
Damaske added that the middle school/high school portables have been moved out and the foundation for the new addition has been dug and continues to be on schedule.
