Matthew Boyer, grandson of James and Cynthia Wardlaw of Sister Lakes, needs your vote to bring home the bacon.
Matthew, 8 months old, of LaGrange Park, Ill., has been selected as one of five national finalists in the Quiznos Baby Bob search.
He is the only nominee from the Midwest and as of Friday, ranked second to Olivia of Houston, Texas, with more than 2,700 votes.
Also in the running for the People's Choice Award are Giselle of Los Angeles, Leah of Miami and Jack of Red Bank, N.J.
The $30,000 is equivalent to $2.99 a day - the price of a Quiznos Real Deal Sub for the next 18 years.
Balloting at www.Quiznos.com through May 19 is to determine the People's Choice Award.
Matthew could win a year's supply of subs for his family.
Quiznos' Casting Call contest is also good for a "crawl-on role" in a commercial alongside Baby Bob.
The five finalists qualified by demonstrating the "most spunk, charm and personality through their auditions," according to the Web site.
Growing up on Garrett Road, Rebecca Boyer was known as Becky Wardlaw.
She and her husband live in the Chicago area with their sons.
Matthew's older brother, Michael, is 2 1/2.
She works for a private equity firm in the Loop.
