The Dowagiac junior varsity softball team swept host Niles Tuesday afternoon, 6-0 and 18-5.
Katie Roach (11-0) struck out eight and walked two, allowing just four hits, in earning the victory in the opening game.
Lynn Zachary had a double and two singles, while Sara Ausra and Felicia Hood also had two hits.
Lori Key (7-3) struck out 12 and walked three, allowing three hits in winning the nightcap.
Zachary had three triples and a single for Dowagiac, which also got three hits from Ausra and Calie Daniels.
Alysha Newman and Amber Clark each had two hits.
