New Buffalo slips past Edwardsburg in 11 innings

The Edwardsburg varsity baseball team dropped a single game against New Buffalo.
The Bison (11-2) scored three runs in the top of the 11th inning to pick up the victory.
New Buffalo led 2-0 after one inning of play, however, the Eddies tied the game at 2-2 with a pair of runs in the bottom of the third.
The Bison grabbed a 3-2 lead in the top of the fourth, however, Edwardsburg exploded for five runs in the bottom of the inning to take a 7-3 lead.
New Buffalo eventually tied the game with a run in the fifth and three in the sixth.
Both teams scored a pair of runs in the ninth inning to make it a 9-9 contest.

Edwardsburg softball
The Edwardsburg varsity softball team swept a non-conference doubleheader from Elkhart Christian. The Lady Eddies won 8-1 and 5-3.
