The Dowagiac varsity soccer team was shut out by host Kalamazoo Central Monday night in a Big 16 Conference crossover match.
The Chieftains were outshot 45-1 in a 10-0 victory by the Maroon Giants.
Dowagiac keeper Jackie Sayre was credited with 21 saves.
Dowagiac returns to action tonight when it travels to South Haven for a non-conference match slated to begin at 5 p.m.
